It is this self-proclamation by the average Australian, and my own personal journey that drove me to educate myself, and now, to help inspire others to educate themselves.
Now i’m not saying that you need to become a finance professional to take control of your financial destiny. Hell, i wouldn’t suggest that you become a mechanic so that you can service your own vehicle and become the master of your automotive destiny. However, a little knowledge goes a long way and helps you feel more comfortable and in control when you are engaging with professionals about important life decisions (or engine oil choices). I would always recommend that you seek out the advice and support of a qualified financial planner so that you can formulate a plan that considers all of the quirks and considerations that makes your situation unique.
